Soil & Sabbath

At Your Pace | Host: Vicar Nick Paulson-Moe  | Asynchronous

This small group will ask questions together about how we live in relationship to soil and how we live in relationship to Sabbath, the ancient once-a-week communal spiritual practice of intentional rest, delight, and wonder. Those questions will lead to more questions about racial capitalism, the accelerating pace of modern life, ecological justice, disability justice, and how we interact with each of those things. Ultimately, we’ll ask what practices and ways of life can nurture vitality and justice in the church and world. The goal of this small group is to create our own personal soil-and-Sabbath practices for ourselves, and to find out together what happens to and in us as we give our attention to soil and Sabbath. This is an asynchronous small group, and everything will be communicated through WhatsApp.

The Bible for Normal People

Mondays 12pm-1pm | Host: Rev. Alyssa Kaplan | Zoom

Pete Enns Ruins Expdus - explore this titilating podcast series as we dive deeper into Exodus and the stories we think we know. There’s a lot more going on in the book of Exodus than what you’ve seen on the big screen or heard in church. More than a story of deliverance, Exodus is a subtle literary creation that contains many surprises when we read it closely. Each session will focus on one podcast session! All are welcome!

Garden Gnomes

Mondays 5pm-7pm | Host: Varies | In Person (Weather Permitting)

In the beginning…

Come dig in the dirt - weed, plant, water, and connect with the powerful imagination of God.  It is easy in the city to feel disconnected from the rhythms of creation.  This is an opportunity to intentionally connect and help co-create as we watch the world continue to grow (even in those moments we feel stuck).  This small group will be meeting at Trinity100th St. Garden.

6 Weeks on Money | Aligning Your Values with Your Pocketbook

T.B.D. Pending Group Availability| Hosts: varies | Zoom

Your relationship with money is deep and complex. Earning it. Keeping it. Spending it. Will the numbers add up? Behind the numbers and budgets and spreadsheets, we also encounter profound questions about purpose, values and who you are in a world with countless ways of telling us there isn’t enough to go around. Together, we can better understand our relationship with money — and embrace freedom and generosity. And yes, make the numbers add up too.

This group also includes podcasts and a 5$ fee per participant to cover cost of the program. If that is prohibitive, we can work with you!

A New Normal: A Gathering Around Faith & Chronic Illness/Disability

Tuesdays 6pm | Pr. Hayley | Zoom

This small group is a safe, supportive space for those navigating a new normal.  A diagnosis can change everything - we have doctors who (hopefully) walk us through physical changes, but how does that diagnosis affect our day to day life, our sense of self, and our faith.  No answers promised - but community, support, and exploring together is guaranteed.  No matter where you are on your journey, you are welcome here.

Walk & Talk

Sundays 1:30 PM | Ricki Ravitts | In Person

As the leaves change and the cool breeze blows through the city, gather with a group of wonderful people to walk and talk and explore God’s presence in the world around us! People and dogs welcome!  Bird watching is an option if desired!
